11th June 2009
I'll be off the mainland to an island known as Tekong
It is said boys turn to men after going through a conversion phase called BMT
They gave a list of items to be brought
Seems little...but to think of all the things needed, it's a pack
here are some of the things bought for that very special day
BOUGHT
a wilson backpack (for all the many stuffs need to be brought there and brough back after 2 weeks), 1/2 washing detergent (bought i pack, decided it won't be enough, decide to get another), 3 toothbrush (just incase i gets swallowed and the other gets stolen, so third one helps), ONE toothpaste (not three), 1 spray insect repellent, 1 lotion insect repellent( yeah, i hate bugs, big time), pack of 5 disposable shavers (i need and 5, just for surety all the necessary hairs must go), a pack of 6 clothes hangers, 2 pairs of trunks, a set of undies (it's essential), 2 face face towels (though it barely enough to clean my mucus and drool),plasters, panadols,1 pack of facial tissues
YET-TO-BUY
camerales handphone, black framed army specs, shower cream/bars, shampoo, a big big johnson, baby powder, a basket, a mirror, herbal oil (for those troubling tummy aches),
damn, looking at these, it seems i cant travese the world and come back and still have leftovers

God is fair? I think it's true. my lack seemingly lack of luck in applying of jobs turns out that my luck was being directed elsewhere. finally nus delivered my long awaited letter. but then, not for the course i went to the interview for, but for something quite similar. hoho. mat'l engineering!
now this actually leaves me with the dilemma. NUS or NTU. Where the hell should i futher my studies? these are points to consider:
advantages
NUS
-nearer to home!
-ranks way higher than ntu
-well, i dunnoe, they have in-campus part time jobs that pays a hell lot?
-first year with modules exempted. oh honey!
NTU
-3 years track, fast as hell
-nice campus facilities
-more practical oriented curriculum
Disadvantages
NUS -a lot of "homeland" scholars to compete with (or so i've heard) -ancient old facilities?( just exaggerating) -bookish curricullum. they dun have compulsory IA! NTU -kinda smack quite far off -1st class there is like 2nd lower in NUS? maybe the ranking proves this abit -i heard the food kinda suck there! XD oh well, i still gotta go on and crack my head for my next step in life( chey, macam betol je)....and definitely not gonna choose things out of my whim.....i'll be screwed big time.... and and and...one more nice thing happened today, gotta wait till 27th may! (not about any girl, if you think it's about a girl, go away, you pervert)

feeling weird. nothing emotional, just physiologically feeling weird. probably due to the extreme lack of any physically strenuous activity. i just wished i have the discipline to start running.
oh man.......

went for nus chem eng. interview this afternoon, and wow, they really meant to grill. i guess that's what to expect since its was the most hardcore course for polytechnic students to attempt. the atmosphere was undoubtably heavy, like as if a refridgerator has been placed on y shoulders...well, make two of that, one on each side. i guess my nervouseness can be read by the interviewer like an open book! XD
anyway, i don't have high expectations from this interview and i have no cause for worry anyway, since i already have a place (a faster one too!) and let's just say this is a nice experience to have and i'll probably keep this in my photo album (or memory if you like)
