Next up...

Two weeks of break comes to an end tommorrow. A new phase in national service is about to begin. Nonetheless, the break was much needed. Sad to say, Hari Raya falls yesterday and could only manage two days of celebration. Tommorrow will be booking in to a new camp. Pasir Laba. Much anticipate but at the same time, dreaded.

On that same day, a friend will be flying of to United Kingdom for further studies. Unfortunately, sending her off will be impossible. By then, I'll be in camp, probably in my new bunk and new section mates. I could only wish her all the best for her future.

These past few days of festive activities brought much fun to the will-be-stressed out soul(self). Visited relatives and met some whom I did not have a chance to meet for months; even those who lived very close. It was a nice family gathering. Not forgetting the buddies who came to add to the liveliness of the celebration. I sincerely thank them.

In my mind now, there is nothing more that fills the space of thought other than what tommorrow will bring. A new environment, a new regime, and most importantly, new people whom I will live, work and play with. Hopefully, I can view these upcoming months of training in a more positive light, unlike those times in BMT. Lastly, I will try to work harder. Maybe, things will change for the better...

PS: Luckily, SISPEC has no confinement period! =)

The end of the first phase of National Service. That lasted for 3 full months. It was like wow, it passed by so quickly. There were fond memories gained through those 3 months. Memories that I don't think I'll ever forget. The Army. The Uniform. The food. The People. Priceless experience not to be found anywhere else. A truly memorable time in this short life.
