for one more day
"...believe that parents, if they love you, will hold you up safely, above their swirling waters, and somtimes that means you'll never know what they endured and you may treat them unkindly, in a way you otherwise wouldn't.
But there's a story behind everything. How a picture got one a wall. How a scar got on your face. Sometimes, the stories are simple, and sometimes there are hard and heartbreaking. But behind all your stories is always you mother's story,
because hers is where yours begins.
Chick Benetto. Mitch Albom's "for one more day"
had a good read this weekened. bought the book on saturday and only get to read it on monday. a story about a man, ruined his marriage. ruined his life. lived for the game, and but shortlived his family. sunk into depression the man decides to take his own life.
unlike many typical life story, this book has takes note of one interesting experience that some may heard of. but never really explored. the concept of near-death experience. unlike those scary experience of even near fantasy ones, here, it takes a man through his life. his past. explains details of mistakes he committed and for every reason he has done it, he now has to face it. a suicide attempt nearly failed. this was what he got to experience. the man's name was Chick Benetto.
now i see that the love for something or someone will never outweigh the love you get from your family.
i love my family
